Spirit of Birmingham Signature Dark Mash / 33cl

New Birmingham whisky distillery Spirit of Birmingham have decided to keep themselves busy while waiting for their first whisky to mature and have released this tasty treat.

Setting aside 10% of one of their mash fermentations they have dry-hopped it and bottled it to produce this delicious bottle conditioned beer. Thier use of plenty of darker malts is immediately obvious in the sweet, welcoming tones of caramel, coffee, milk chocolate and a lick of sweet liquorice. And all smartly packaged up with a label designed by local artist Johnny Vacant (@v_c_nt).
