Foursquare Exceptional Cask Series 2010 is here!

Like many lovers of Foursquare's much lauded Exceptional Cask Series we have been eagerly awaiting the latest instalment.  Our appetite whetted by social media posts from happy drinkers in other markets where it has already been available for weeks.  The minute size (not to mention absolute deliciousness) of the previous release, Isonomy, and consequent difficulty in getting hold of it only increasing our sense of anticipation.

The wait is over.  Edition XXI of the Exceptional Cask Series, the 2010 Cask Strength is available in the UK from today and we have a (very limited) allocation.  This offering is a blend of pot and continuous still rums that have been aged in Barbados for 12 years in ex-Bourbon casks, before bottling at 60% ABV.  As always with Foursquare there's not chill-filtering, no tweaks to the colour, and absolutely no flavourings or sweeteners, just pure, delicious rum.

It's a bigger release than Isonomy, but that's only relative.  We still only have a very limited allocation, so to allow as many people as possible to try this gem we're going to have to limit everyone to one bottle.  Sorry.

You can either buy the bottle on its own or, if you combine it with either a bottle of Doorly's XO (also by Foursquare), you'll be saving yourself £10.  If you fancy a bigger saving then pairing the 2010 with the Doorly's 14 Year Old will fetch you an even more appealing £15 saving.
