Christmas comes but once a year, although with supermarkets stocking mince pies from early September, it does sometimes feel like more. One thing we at Vine & Bine feels helps restore the seasonal magic is the judicious addition of top-notch drinks of all kinds.
This tasting is where we pick the drinks that have most excited us over the past 12 months, and then find a tenuous Christmassy link to give us an excuse to share them with you.
What to expect? A bit of everything! Wines will obviously play a starring role but there will also be fizz, maybe some spirits, and possibly something completely left-field.

Port and Christmas go hand in hand, especially here at Vine & Bine, where an annual Port tasting has become a regular fixture.
With this year's edition we're ringing some minor changes. Port lovers - don't be worried, Ports will still be front and centre. But this year they will be joined by some of the other fabulous fortified wines that are every bit as delicious as the Ports that you'll be tasting them with.

2026 TASTINGS

Like a finally tuned clock that ticks but once a year, our annual Burn's Night whisky tasting has rolled round once again.
This is where we take the opportunity to taste our way through some of the finest drops that Scotland has to offer. As always we will be touching on all the major whisky producing regions, though some of the distilleries may be less well-known. There will be something for every whisky lover, from the delicate and elegant, through to full-on peat.
Book early as this always sells out quickly.
