Blind River Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc / 2024 / 75cl

Handcrafted in small volumes, Blind River Sauvignon Blanc is made from five meticulously managed vineyard blocks in the Awatere Valley. Each block is harvested and vinified separately, with tailored winemaking to highlight its unique fruit character. Around 10% of the juice ferments in seasoned French oak for added texture and subtle complexity, while the remainder is cool-fermented in stainless steel to preserve aromatic purity. The wine spends three months on lees to enhance mouthfeel and depth. Vibrant and expressive with intense passionfruit, lemon, and pineapple flavours, underpinned by chalky mineral notes typical of the Awatere Valley. Beautifully balanced with a silky mouthfeel and lingering finish.
