High‑altitude fruit is the signature at Bodegas Altolandon, an organically farmed estate perched around 1,100 metres in the hills of Landete. The team specialises in minimal‑intervention wines that lean on freshness, texture and purity, and their Pét‑Nat is very much part of that philosophy. Aromatically it’s lifted and expressive, with mandarin, apricot and orange blossom wrapped in Muscat’s unmistakable white‑and‑pink florals. A faint honeyed note sits underneath, while the naturally captured bubbles give everything a soft, creamy rise without feeling frothy.

The palate carries that same unpolished charm: cloudy, textural and gently savoury from time on lees. Stone fruit and citrus drive the flavour, kept taut by clean, decisive acidity that brings a dry, refreshing line. A subtle herbaceous edge shapes the finish, adding definition to the fruit. It’s vibrant, lightly wild and true to Altolandon’s high‑altitude, hands‑off approach — a natural sparkler that favours freshness over fizz.
