Bodegas Murviedro’s Sericis Old Vine Bobal 2021 comes off the sun‑drenched, chalk‑and‑clay slopes of Medio Día, where old vines give tiny but intensely flavoured yields. The fruit is destemmed, gently pressed and left to macerate slowly at controlled temperatures before slipping through malolactic and settling into new French Allier oak for eight months. That combination of low‑vigour soils, big diurnal swings and careful élevage sets the stage for a wine with real depth and definition.
