Cadus Tunuyan Naranjo / 2024 / 75cl

Cadus Tunuyán Naranjo shows an attractive copper‑orange colour, shaped by five months of skin maceration and a further eight months in very old French oak. The fruit comes from the 28‑year‑old Los Chacayes vineyard at 1,200m, where stony, calcareous soils with very low organic matter and excellent drainage give naturally low vigour and concentrated character. The nose is complex and layered, opening with citrus notes of kumquat, bitter orange and a touch of candied grapefruit, followed by apricot, wild herbs and a lift of white pepper.

The palate begins with a gentle sweetness before the wine’s firm texture and grip take over, a clear marker of its extended skin contact. Round tannins and bright acidity work together to drive a long, persistent finish, where a subtle bitter note adds definition and typicity for the style.
