A small but sharply focused cooperative in Alto Adige, Cantina Valle Isarco has built its reputation on clean, mountain‑driven wines from steep, high‑altitude vineyards. Their Blauburgunder thrives in these cooler pockets of the Eisack Valley, where thin soils and big diurnal shifts give Pinot Noir a taut, lifted profile rather than plush, Burgundian weight. The 2024 continues that house style: bright, precise and very much shaped by altitude.

Red cherry, cranberry and a touch of rose stem lead the nose, all crisp and finely etched. The palate is light, pure and energetic, with crunchy red fruit, a hint of alpine herb and just enough tannin to keep the line straight.
