Chateau Beaumont, Haut-Medoc / 2022 / 75cl

Located on the left bank of the Gironde, between the communes of Margaux and Saint-Julien, Château Beaumont draws its finesse and its delicacy from the deep gravels of the best soils of the Haut-Médoc. Wines spend 12 to 14 months in barrels, one-third of which is renewed each year.

A fruit-forward, more modern style of claret with an increasing proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, 65% for this 2022. Although still young, this has intense, super ripe black fruit and well-rounded tannins, a reflection of the warm vintage which allows for early drinking.
