Now headed by Caroline Cassot, Chateau la Coustarelle has been in family hands since 1870.

Since 2009, when she took over from her parents, Caroline has managed and grown the estate.  Centred around the family vines on the third terraces of the Lot valley, the property now spans 50 hectares of south-facing vines.  An instinctive winemaker, she prefers to let her senses guide her decisions rather than bowing to the dictats of laboratory testing.  A combination of Caroline's focus on sustainable farming and a desire to allow the differences between different parcels to shine means she is producing so truly honest and characterful wines that really deliver.
