One of the very first Médoc second wines. Connétable was created in the 1970s. Over the years, it has benefited from all the care given to the vineyard and increasingly stringent selections.

Bright and finely structured, showing lifted cassis, redcurrant and a touch of graphite, with subtle cedar and spice from well‑judged oak. The palate is sleek and medium‑bodied, balancing ripe fruit with a cool, savoury edge, finishing with polished tannins and a clean, classical St‑Julien clarity.
