Imaginem Red (low intervention), Mingorra / 2011 / 75cl

This is a wine that ticks pretty much any box you can think of, organic, carbon neutral, sustainable, delicious - you name it, it's got it. Made only in special years (this is from the 2011 vintage) this wine has one of the lowest carbon footprints from its bottle to its plantable label!

Produced from a blend of traditional Alentejo grapes including Syrah, Alfrochiero, Alicante Bouchet, and Touriga Nacional Imaginem has a light brighter brown colour that gives away the age of this wine. It presents a lovely note of ripe fruit like damson and blackberry with some warm spices & earth. It is a pure indulgence on the palate with tertiary notes of mushroom, nutmeg and liquorice combined with the freshness of coriander and ripe red fruit. Elegant, subtle tannins and mature fruit all the way leaving a long, delicious balanced flavour on your palate.
