Every year since the foundation of the House of Krug, a new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée is created to offer the most generous expression of Champagne.

A deep, resonant core of ripe citrus, toasted brioche and crushed hazelnut leads immediately, carrying that unmistakable Krug vinosity. The 171ème Édition shows its breadth early: grilled orchard fruit, lemon oil, quince and subtle honeycomb, all wrapped in a savoury, almost chalk‑inflected tension.

The palate is simultaneously generous and architectural. Layers of baked apple, preserved lemon, almond cream and warm pastry meet a line of saline minerality that keeps everything lifted. The reserve‑wine depth is clear in the wine’s texture: silky, mouth‑filling, yet perfectly balanced by pinpoint acidity.

The finish is long, nutty and quietly powerful, tapering through notes of toasted spice, citrus peel and fine autolysis. A beautifully composed edition that captures Krug’s signature richness without losing precision or freshness.
