Lifted citrus, white nectarine and subtle pear skin lead the aromatics, wrapped in a gentle savoury haze from the wine’s time in a concrete 'egg'. There’s a quiet creaminess from the lees, but the overall feel is fresher and more textural than overtly rich, with hints of chamomile, almond and a faint earthy note that speaks to the uovo’s influence. Everything feels calm, precise and quietly expressive.

The palate is supple and finely shaped, carrying ripe stone‑fruit and citrus flavours on a smooth, almost silken texture. Acidity is bright but not sharp, giving the wine a flowing, seamless line, while the amphora brings a subtle grain and a more natural, unforced sense of weight. A touch of savoury complexity lingers through the finish, which is long, clean and gently mineral, suggesting the wine will broaden further with a little time in bottle.
