Les Vignerons d'Estezargues Cuvee des Galets Rouge / 2022 / 75cl

Founded in 1965 and with just ten members, this small co-op produces wines with ‘light touch’, almost artisan, techniques. 70% of their plots are certified organic with more to come.

No sulphur is used on the grapes or in the fermentation, just a miniscule amount at bottling to ensure stability. Spontaneous fermentation (no cultured yeasts), no acidification, no sugar addition. Natural malolactic fermentation, one racking only, no fining, no cold stabilisation, a very ‘small’ filtration when bottling early (March - June).
