Mentzendorff Kummel / 50cl

Mentzendorff Kummel is a nod to the company’s heritage, with powerful, lifted aromas of aniseed, liquorice and cumin.

It was first produced at the Allasch distillery for the Baron von Blanckenhagen, on his country estate near Riga in the 1820s to his family’s private recipe.  It owes its name to Ludwig Mentzendorff, who first brought Mentzendorff Kummel to London in the 1850s.

Since 1985, Mentzendorff Kummel has been distilled by the Combier Distillery in the Loire Valley, true to the original recipe, in their world famous stills designed by Gustave Eiffel.
