Montecillo Gran Reserva Rioja / 2015 / 75cl

Bodegas Montecillo was established in 1870, making it the third winery to be established in Rioja and the first in Fuenmayor. Fuenmayor is one of the towns with the longest history and tradition in Rioja Alta. Named after the unique landscape, Montecillo (a small hill or hillock), provides the perfect climatic and geological conditions to produce wines of elegance, complexity and balance.

A complex and expressive nose of ripe red fruit complimented by an elegant oak character and savoury notes of saffron and clove. Velvety tannins envelope the palate, which expresses resinous notes and hints of candied fruit followed long-lasting and persistent finish.
