Montecillo Rioja Reserva / 2015 / 75cl

Bodegas Montecillo was established in 1870, making it the third winery to be established in Rioja and the first in Fuenmayor. Fuenmayor is one of the towns with the longest history and tradition in Rioja Alta. Named after the unique landscape, Montecillo (a small hill or hillock), provides the perfect climatic and geological conditions to produce wines of elegance, complexity and balance.

Full and rich with flavours of red fruit compote, interwoven by notes of mahogany and savoury spices such as bay leaf. The palate shows grippy yet elegant tannins and a mineral quality that lingers on the finish.
