Peter Lehmann’s Eight Songs Shiraz 2021 draws on fruit from the estate’s longest‑standing growers across Light Pass, Bethany, Nuriootpa and Ebenezer, giving it a true Barossa chorus of sites. Morning harvesting, a long two‑week skin ferment and careful barrel MLF set the foundation, before the final blend is shaped through their annual classification tasting and matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads, 40% of them new.

The result is rich, fragrant and immediately expressive: dark plum, blueberry, allspice and a dusting of cedar. The palate is plush and textural, layered with ripe plums, dark red fruits and creamy chocolate, all carried by silky tannins. It finishes long, savoury and pure‑fruited—a polished, confident Barossa Shiraz with real poise.
