Sharpham Estate Little Bee Wild Ferment Pinot Gris / 2023 / 75cl

Sharpham Estate’s Little Bee Wild Ferment Pinot Gris is made from hand‑harvested grapes picked in October, destemmed and crushed before spending three to four weeks soaking on the skins. This extended contact draws out flavour, colour and gentle tannin before the free‑run juice is transferred to stainless steel to ferment naturally with wild yeasts. The nose is bright and expressive, showing nectarine, green citrus and a subtle fennel note.

The palate bursts with sour stone‑fruit character and carries a taut, pithy grapefruit‑like texture that gives the wine real definition. A touch of spice and soft, fine tannins add grip without heaviness, leading into a clean, refreshing finish.
