Spirit of Birmingham have reached a major milestone in their whisky journey.  Saturday 28/06/25 saw the release of Birmingham's first ever whisky to members of their Members' Club.

And now the rest of us can join in the fun.  Friday 04/07/25 sees the release of whatever is left of the 900 bottles after the Member's got their share. Genuinely a world first - this is your last chance to own Birmingham's first ever whisky.

So what are you getting  - 

Aon is crafted with a complex mash featuring traditionally floor malted Maris Otter Barley, un-malted flaked barley, malted oats, malted rye, and chocolate malt.  The resulting spirit has then been matured in a mix of virgin Staffordshire oak and first fill ex-Buffalo Trace barrels.

Surprisingly complex for a relatively young whisky.  There's an intriguing contrast between its sweeter flavours and the darker coffee and cocao notes from the chocolate malt, all partnered with a gentle spiciness.
