St Joseph Rouge, E. Guigal / 2019 / 75cl

Made from 100% Syrah and from a selection of old vines between 20 and 50 years old. The wines are lighter than most in the Northern Rhône because the east-facing vineyards have less direct sun during the ripening months. Aged for 16 months in new oak barrels with full red berry fruit and supple tannin.

Nose: Powerful nose dominated by red berries and delicate oak aromas.
Palate: Powerful attack. Round and supple tannins.
