There's great wine made made all around the globe, but some winemaking regions stand head and shoulders above the rest in the minds of wine lovers.  Much like Beyoncé or Cher these wines often need just a single word to get mouths watering.  The likes of Bordeaux, Chablis, and Rioja have had centuries burnishing their reputations but in recent decades they've been joined by newcomers like Argentinean Malbec, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, and Barossa Shiraz, to name just a few.

This tasting will focus on styles that have established themselves much more recently, tasting our way through eight different examples of white and red wine styles that are modern classics.

Don't worry if you didn't make it to Part 1, these are standalone tastings so this will be just as much fun on its own.
