'Terre d'Ivoire' St. Joseph Blanc, Cave de Tain / 2018 / 75cl

Made from old vine Marsanne grown in the south of the appellation on limestone scree and granite soils. The wine is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel before being racked into 400L oak barrels and aged for 8 months on fine lees. Around 10% of the wine has undergone malolactic fermentation.

Intense and vinous, old vine Marsanne grown on granite which adds a 'tension' to the ripe rich fruit and balances the voluptuous oak.
