Born from Zorah’s pioneering work in reviving Armenia’s ancient Areni Noir, the 2022 Karasì captures the quiet intensity of high‑altitude Vayots Dzor. Aromas of redcurrant, rose petal and wild strawberry rise from the glass, underpinned by that distinctive volcanic‑mineral thread the estate has become known for. It’s aromatic without being showy, delicate yet clearly defined.

The palate is taut and finely textured, driven by bright acidity and feather‑light tannins that give the wine its graceful, almost weightless feel. Notes of pomegranate, subtle spice and dried herbs linger on a long, pure finish. It’s a beautifully judged expression of Areni Noir — precise, understated and unmistakably Zorah.
