Rich and generous, the 2023 Sandstone Merlot opens with aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry, layered with hints of vanilla, cocoa and sweet spice. The palate is smooth and supple, offering juicy dark fruit flavours framed by soft tannins and subtle oak influence. A touch of mocha and baking spice lingers on the finish, creating an easy-drinking yet satisfying Merlot that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roast lamb or mature hard cheeses.
